THE GALLERY
The gallery La Galliavola, a Gallery specialized in Oriental Art, was introduced to the international antiques market more than twenty years ago, and the notoriety it gained within its field can be attributed to its expertise and proficiency. This gallery, once located in a prestigious castle in rural Lombardy, was founded in the 1970s by Patrizia Chignoli, renowned for her proficiency on Oriental Art. Today the gallery can be found in the Center of Milan, where it continues to present unique exhibitions characterized both by objects of elevated quality and by rigorous scientific research.

Despite these being just a few examples, they may demonstrate the philosophy of La Galliavola, which is marked equally by a constant and accurate research for the object as well as for the unusual and unseen works of art. In the collection of La Galliavola Chinese ceramics may easily be found alongside jades, bronzes from China and Tibet, ritual objects, architectural pieces, sculptures, furniture or Japanese netsuke'. The Gallery is now being run by Carla Gaggianesi, the founder's daughter who, for several years, has taken part in the Ceramic Fair in London and the Asian Art Fair in New York. We look forward to meeting all your particular requirements and offering you all the advice you may need from us.
