THE GALLERY
The gallery La Galliavola, a Gallery specialized in Oriental Art, was introduced to the international antiques market more than twenty years ago. The notoriety gained in the field is related to the expertise and proficiency demonstrated in many occasion. The gallery, once located in a prestigious castle in the countryside Lombardy, was founded in the 1970s by Patrizia Chignoli, renowned for her experience about Oriental Art. Today the gallery has been relocated to the center of Milan. Here the presentation of unique exhibitions has been maintained: the excellence quality of the object proposed is accompanied by a deep academic research.

Despite these being just a few examples, they may demonstrate the philosophy behind La Galliavola, characterized by a constant and accurate research for the object combined to unusual and particular works of art. The collection of La Galliavola has a core of Chinese ceramics, alongside with jades, Chinese and Tibetan bronzes, ritual objects, architectural pieces, sculptures, furniture and Japanese netsuke'. Carla Gaggianesi, the founder's daughter, is now taking care of the Gallery, keeping high the name that for several years has taken part in the Ceramic Fair in London and the Asian Art Fair in New York.
